Step-by-step instructions to getting your 2009 HSC results
There are three ways you can get your HSC results from 6.00 am on Wednesday 16 December:
- through the internet
- by SMS message
- over the telephone
You must use your PIN and your student number to gain access to your results. If you have difficulty using your PIN and student number on 16 December, call the HSC Examination Inquiry Centre on 13 11 12.
1. Results through the internet
You can see your HSC results on these sites from 6.00 am on Wednesday 16 December after typing in your student number and PIN. There is no cost to you other than any charges that might apply when you use the internet.
Important: If you use a shared computer in a public place (for example, at school or in a library) to access your results, make sure you quit or exit the browser software before leaving. This will remove the possibility of anyone else viewing your results.
2. Results by SMS text message
Receive your results by SMS by sending a text message from your mobile phone with your student number, followed by a space and your PIN to 0427 659 900.

Pre-registration
If you pre-register, your results will be sent to your mobile phone automatically on Wednesday 16 December at approximately 6.00 am.
You can pre-register to receive your results by SMS until Tuesday 15 December. You will receive an acknowledgement of your pre-registration.
After results release
From 6.00 am Wednesday 16 December until Tuesday 29 December, you can still request your results by SMS. Your results will be sent back to your mobile phone on receipt of your SMS message.
For each course, the SMS message contains the course name in abbreviated form, your HSC mark and your performance band.

3. Results over the telephone – 1300 669 248
You can hear your HSC results from 6.00 am on Wednesday 16 December by using the automated telephone service.
Call 1300 669 248 and follow the voice prompts. You will be given information about the cost of the call, and asked to enter your student number and PIN.
Calls will be charged at standard local call rates. Mobile and pay phone calls will cost more.
The Telephone Results Service closes on Tuesday 29 December.
