Board Bulletins and Official Notices – 2008

For the most recent Board Bulletins and Official Notices, go to the Board News Page.

The information in the Official Notices is the Board’s official advice to NSW schools of the decisions it has taken, and should be acted upon as such. Principals should ensure the Official Notices are circulated to all teaching staff. The Official Notices are published in hard copy within the pages of Board Bulletins.

All these documents are available as PDF files as they are duplicates of the paper versions. You can download the latest Macintosh and Windows versions of Adobe Reader from the Adobe website.

Official Notices go online

All Official Notices from now on will appear on the Board's website before you receive the Board Bulletin in print.

An Official Notice is effective from the date of web publication unless otherwise specified in the Notice. The date of web publication is shown at the top of each notice.

Many school staff already subscribe to the Board’s web alert email service, and they receive an email each time new items are placed on the Board’s website. As new items are generally uploaded in batches there are usually only two or three email alerts per term. This service is free of charge.

We advise all schools to create a subscription for at least one key member of staff to monitor the Official Notices and other news items that may affect your school’s operations.

Instructions for subscribing are at Board of Studies News. A link to the Official Notices page, which includes the options for receiving alerts about new Official Notices, is on the Board of Studies home page.
