Consultation on the draft Australian curriculum: Years 5–10 Economics and Business

The draft Australian curriculum for Economics and Business was released by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) on 6 May 2013 for national consultation. The Board of Studies consulted with teachers and the public from June 2013 to July 2013 to coordinate NSW feedback about the quality and suitability of this curriculum for NSW schools.

The Board’s consultation included face-to-face meetings in metropolitan and regional areas of NSW and an online survey. The focus was on the Year 5 to Year 10 curriculum.

Consultation on the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Economics and Business

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) released the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Economics and Business on 6 August for national consultation until 12 October 2012.

The Board of Studies consulted with teachers and the public through teacher focus-group meetings in metropolitan and regional centres and an online survey.

The Board's online survey on the Draft Shape of the Australian Curriculum: Economics and Business closed on 19 October 2012. Feedback received by the Board of Studies contributed to the NSW response to ACARA.
