Consultation in 2010
From June to September 2010 the Board of Studies conducted consultation with key stakeholders, teachers and the wider community on the draft senior secondary Australian curriculum content for English, Mathematics, Science and History. Consultation focused on the quality of the draft curriculum content and its suitability for implementation in NSW schools.
Feedback was obtained from more than 1,000 stakeholders who attended consultation meetings in metropolitan and regional areas of NSW, participated in teleconferences, provided written submissions and responded to the Board’s online survey.
This feedback informed the advice from the Board of Studies to the NSW Minister for Education and Training about the implementation of the Australian curriculum in NSW.
